Hybicor 206

Hybricor® 206 is a unique anti-corrosion pigment that utilizes a dual functionality mechanism of corrosion inhibition: calcium ion exchange + organic inhibition. This synergistic combination has been optimized to maximize the effectiveness of this pigment in mitigating the corrosion process. The near neutral pH allows it to be formulated into a wide range of coating applications without a negative impact on paint stability or pot life. The fine particle size of Hybricor® 206 (6.5 Hegman) permits its use in coatings with a traditional and also a very low dry film thickness (5 Microns). Hybricor® 206 is easily dispersed, no grinding is required. It can be used on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates.
