EPON 154

EPON™ Resin 154 is an epoxy resin manufactured from phenolic novolac resin and epichlorohydrin. The resultant polyfunctional epoxy novolac resin is available as a semi-solid. When cured with appropriate materials, highly cross-linked compositions exhibiting high chemical resistance, high temperature resistance and dimensional stability are obtained. EPON Resin 154 may be used as the sole epoxy resin or combined with other epoxy resins such as EPON Resin 828 (bisphenol A based) or EPON Resin 862 (bisphenol F based) to develop specific process and application properties.
